These topics include New Media (blogs, photo sharing, text messaging, video sharing, etc.) and its proven ability to influence international relations and test state power; the significance of technology and its role in state affairs; the possible inclusion of Turkey into the European Union; modernization in the Islamic world; and multiple security issues including human rights violations, genocide, and the Iraq War.
